Homemade Breakfast Pizza

I love homemade breakfast pizza! This is great for on the weekends when you want something different and you have to feed a large family like mine. You can use homemade pizza dough like I did or you can use the dough from the can like I’ve done multiple times. I have also used crescent roll dough and biscuit dough and it all tastes great. Add whatever toppings you like. We like bacon and sausage the best.

Why you will love this recipe-

  • This homemade breakfast pizza is great for a crowd
  • Its savory and delicious alternative to regular eggs and toast for breakfast
  • Of course, kids love this pizza, mine top it with siracha!

Ingredients you will need-

  • pizza dough/ 2-3 cans (I used homemade pizza dough, and my recipe made two sheet pans of pizza)
  • scrambled eggs (I used 12 eggs and scrambled until soft but not fully cooked)
  • nacho cheese sauce (I used queso)
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked bacon
  • 1 1/2 cup cooked breakfast sausage
  • 4 cups pizza blend cheese
  • 1/2 sliced green onions

How to make-

Step 1. First place parchment paper on a baking sheet pan and pre-heat oven to whatever the temperature it says for your dough or crescent rolls. (My pizza dough cooks at 450 degrees). stretch dough to cover sheet pan and poke holes with a fork all over top of the dough. bake partially about 5-7 minutes.

Step 2. Next spread nacho cheese sauce on the crust then layer eggs, bacon, sausage, green onions, and cheese.

Step 3. Place back into oven and finish baking. Mine took 7 more minutes so about 15 minutes all together.

Step 4. Then take out of the oven and let cool for a few minutes, slice and enjoy.

Tips-

  • When scrambling the eggs make sure you don’t cook them all the way through as they will continue cooking on the pizza.
  • For the crust, make sure to poke some holes with a fork and cook it halfway before adding the toppings, so they don’t overcook.
  • You can use any kind of queso for the “sauce”. I have used the yellow kind and the white, both are delicious.
  • My Family loves this breakfast pizza, and they like to drizzle siracha on the top or hot sauce.

Storage-

  • There are never any leftovers when we make this, but if you happen to have some leftover, store in the refrigerator 1-2 days in an airtight container. Place in microwave to reheat.
  • After you cook the crust halfway and add your toppings you can cover with plastic wrap or tin foil and store in the freezer up to a couple of months. Unwrap and cook directly from freezer.
