Bakery Style-Chocolate Chip Cookies

This chocolate chip cookie recipe came from my sister. They are truly divine. I believe they are one of the best. These came to me at the best time possible! After hours of labor and delivery of my daughter my sister came to visit us and brought a ice cream bucket full of these cookies and oh my God I was blessed! I tasted one and told her she needed to sell these in a bakery! My husband and I devoured these cookies. Not sure we had any to take home when we left the hospital. They were that good! I have been making these ever since and everyone always loves them and I can never make enough!

Tips-
- I always take my cookies out before completely browned because they will continue cooking on the baking sheet after they are out.
- Cookie dough can be frozen for up to 3 months
- Feel free to add in other ingredients to your liking (walnuts, mm’s, toffee bits)
Storage–
- store in airtight container on counter (they should stay fresh for 4-5 days)
- freeze cookies or cookie dough for up to 3 months
You dont need a mixer for these cookies just a giant bowl and wooden spoon. A giant bowl because your going to want to double this recipe! The cookie dough can also be refrigerated or frozen to bake at a later time. Doing this can make these cookies even better but my family can never wait. They will eat all the cookie dough if I let them.
I am telling you these are one of the best!! They are soft, chewy, and full of chocolate chips. They are great for gifts because who doesn’t love a classic chocolate chip cookie?
Store them in an airtight container to keep them fresh. They won’t last long though.
