I not going to lie when I say I have seen people eat this frosting with a spoon and I won’t say any names, but it has happened a time or two.

Ingredients you will need-

  • 2 Cup creamy peanut butter
  • 10 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2/3 cups heavy cream
  • pinch of salt

How to make-

Step 1. First in a mixer, mix the butter until smooth then add in the peanut butter and mix until smooth

Step 2. Next add in the powdered sugar and mix until smooth on medium speed.

Step 3. Then add in the heavy cream and mix until smooth and creamy

Step 4. Place in piping bag and pipe onto your favorite chocolate cupcakes or spread on your favorite brownies!

Tips

  • Make sure all your ingredients are at room temperature so everything mixes smoothly and there are no lumps from cold butter.
  • I like to keep the mixer at medium speed because you can over mix frosting especially this one if mixed to fast.

Storage-

  • The frosting can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. When ready to use pull out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature before trying to pipe as it will be harder to do so.

  • 2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 10 tbsp. unsalted butter, room temp
  • 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • pinch of salt

Equipment

  • 1 MIxer

Method
 

  1. First, you want to mix the butter until smooth.
  2. Next add in the peanut butter and mix until combined.
  3. Then add in the powdered sugar, mix until combined and smooth, add in the heavy cream and mix more until smooth and creamy.
  4. Lastly spoon into piping bag and pipe onto your favorite chocolate cupcakes, or spread on some brownies.
